worthington reviews

“I have been studying piano at the Conservatory for over 5 years, as an adult student. It is an amazing place. The music instruction is high quality. The instructors and staff treat each other as well as the students with great respect. The teaching is very thorough and also fun. They offer flexibility with schedules, styles of music, and levels of skills. I would highly recommend The Conservatory of Piano to anyone at any age for a fine piano education. “

“I have been taking piano lessons at the Conservatory of Piano for a few years now, I am improving immensely. The staff is great! Very welcoming and Mr. Valentine is very accomplished in his own right, also challenges me each and every lesson. I would recommend the Conservatory to anyone who is starting out or wishing to further themselves.!”

“We have been with The Conservatory of Piano for over 10 years. It is a wonderful place to have our daughters learn how to play the piano. The staff is amazing and we could not be more pleased with our experience there. The recitals really show off the abilities of the students and give them a sense of accomplishment. The staff and owners are very organized and on top of everything. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone interested in piano lessons.”

“Exceptional is a word I would use to describe our family’s experience over 10 years of piano lessons for our two daughters. The instructors are excellent and love what they do. I love hearing our daughters play and perform. Thank you Ms. Popper and the cadre of central Ohio’s best instructors. “

faqs
how old must my child be to start lessons?

We start at the age of 3 and have done so successfully since 1971, and our young children do much more than silly scarf-waving. Although very young children may not be able to read yet, all children respond to symbols at a very young age. With the right materials presented in the right sequence with the right motivation by the right teachers, very young children can certainly be successful in piano lessons

do you teach adults or am i too old to learn?

We absolutely teach adults and are proud to say we have a large and active population of adult learners of all ages and levels. In fact, we have literally written the book for adult beginners that guarantees you will be making music during your first lesson. Played in the past, but not for a long time? We’ve got you covered. Really advanced and just need some coaching? We do that, too.

do i need a piano at home to take lessons?

Really, it depends on the lessons! For our introductory Conservatory Sampler class, no piano is needed, as we spend ample time in the lesson playing on actual full-sized acoustic pianos. For private lessons, a full-sized acoustic or digital piano (88 weighted, touch-sensitive keys and a pedal) is required. Small table-top keyboards and other “toys” will be a waste of your time and money within a few short months.

is there free parking?

Yes! We have a parking lot along side of our building with plenty of parking. We are also handicap accessible.
