making music is for everyone, not just for a privileged few. At the Conservatory of Piano, we believe in making music for the purpose of the enjoyment and well-being of the participant.Exemplary performances are not the motive; fun and relaxation are the keys to success!
you are invited to join our Adult Sampler program, part of the largest group of beginning music students in the country, those involved in recreational music making.Recreational Music Making (RMM), is a national movement in conjunction with the National Piano Foundation, the Music Teachers National Association, the National Association of Music Merchants, and the American Music Conference.RMM encompasses enjoyable, accessible, educational and fulfilling music-based activities in a social atmosphere, without the pressure to perform frequently associated with piano lessons.
no “talent” or previous experience is required.
have fun learning to read music and play the piano!
